<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>An opinion on alpha/beta-T-cells depletion as effective platform for haploidentical hematopoietic stem cells transplantation (HSCT) is presented in this article. Historical aspects of the method development and improvement, advantages of this type of depletion in the modern era are presented. Effectiveness of alpha/beta-T-cell depletion for significant reduction of the risk of graft-versus-host disease and infection complications is showed.
