В лекции представлены современные данные по биологии папилломавирусной инфекции и влиянию ее на канцерогенез. Дано определение папилломавируса и его краткие характеристики, типы и история открытия и изучения. Представлены клинические симптомы и диагностические исследования, позволяющие обнаружить вирус. Показаны данные, которые могут свидетельствовать о роли вируса в канцерогенезе, а также пути профилактики инфекции как метода протекции. 

The lecture presents current data on the biology of HPV infection and its influence on carcinogenesis. The definition of HPV and its brief characteristics, types and history of finding and study. We present the clinical symptoms and diagnostic studies to detect the virus. Showing information that may indicate the role of viruses in carcinogenesis, as well as ways to prevent infection as a method of protection.
