<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) is now the therapy of choice for a multitude of malignant and benign diseases in adults and children. Resultant toxic effects, sustained immunodeficiency, allo- and autoimmune responses, bone tissue malformations, and endocrine system dysfunction are an incomplete list of its complications requiring for specialists’ close observation, early diagnosis, and adequate treatment. This essay is dedicated to the follow-up, prophylactic medical examination, and rehabilitation of children after HSCT at the “Russkoe Pole” (Russian Field) Therapy and Rehabilitation Center, Federal Research Center of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Immunology named after Dmitriy Rogachev. It shows indications for rehabilitation, the pattern and specific features of post-HSCT monitoring and recovery in children, and the relevance and importance of improving their quality of life after long-term and difficult therapy for life-threatening diseases.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>реабилитация</kwd><kwd>трансплантация гемопоэтических стволовых клеток</kwd><kwd>поздние осложнения после трансплантации гемопоэтических стволовых клеток</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>rehabilitation</kwd><kwd>hematopoietic stem cell transplantation</kwd><kwd>late complications after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Passweg J.
