Biology of human papillomavirus infection and carcinogenesis of epithelial cells of the skin and mucous membranes

Abstract

The lecture presents current data on the biology of HPV infection and its influence on carcinogenesis. The definition of HPV and its brief characteristics, types and history of finding and study. We present the clinical symptoms and diagnostic studies to detect the virus. Showing information that may indicate the role of viruses in carcinogenesis, as well as ways to prevent infection as a method of protection.
