Organizational aspects of the treatment of retinoblastoma in children in the Russian Federation on the basis of survey of regional centers of pediatric hematology-oncology

Abstract

The article presents data on the analysis of the organization of treatment of patients with retinoblastoma (RB) in the regions of the Russian Federation, the main problems associated with the diagnosis and treatment of this group of patients. The authors show the need for the introduction in Russia of new, organ-preserving, therapies RB that will improve the quality of care for children.
