Multicystic biliary hamartoma of the liver in child: case report

Abstract

Multicystic biliary hamartoma of the liver (BHL) – rare benign liver tumor, pathogenesis of it is not clear enough, but might be related to developmental abnormalities of the biliary tract. The majority of patients are asymptomatic, and cysts are found incidentally. In this publication we want to show you successful case of treatment 8-year-old child with multicystic BHL.
